How To Volunteer!

Coaching children in sports is a very rewarding experience, and coaching your own child's team is one of the best experiences you can have. Coaching is essential to the success of AYSO, and we are always in need of coaches in all divisions.

To become an AYSO coach, register as a volunteer. The volunteer registration process is similar to registering your child as a player. Once you login you will have the opportunity to register as a coach. Make sure you choose the division you want to coach! As part of the volunteer registration process you'll undergo a background check, this is an AYSO requirement to ensure the safety of the kids.  You will need to volunteer/ fill out the form EVERY year.

We provide all coach training!  A couple of the certifications are required for all volunteers: these are Safe Haven, Concussion Awareness, and SAFE SPORT.. All are available online courses. Additionally, each coach must be certified at the level they are coaching. Training classes are available periodically and coach candidates can register for these classes by logging into your account and selecting the AYSOu tab under your name.  For further instructions see EtrainU page.

This division has 2, 1 hour practices each week of the season.  Games REQUIRE a referee.
